Acting on Telegram trade ideas in MetaTrader 5

Your own analysis, a scanner or a group you follow: many trade ideas arrive as a Telegram message today. The step from message to order is where most mistakes happen.

What a complete trade idea contains

  • Symbol, for example XAUUSD or EURUSD
  • Direction: buy or sell
  • Entry: a price, a zone or “at market”
  • Stop-loss
  • At least one take-profit

Common transfer errors

  • Swapped digits in entry or stop-loss
  • Wrong symbol because the broker names it differently (such as “XAUUSD.s” or “GOLD”)
  • Position size by gut feeling instead of by risk
  • Late execution because no computer is at hand

With EasyFX

You send the trade idea as text, screenshot or forward to the EasyFX bot. EasyFX reads symbol, direction, entry, stop-loss and take-profits and shows everything for you to check. Only after you approve with a tap are the orders placed on your MT5 account – sized from your risk and using your broker's symbol name.

EasyFX provides no trade ideas itself and no recommendation on what to trade.
